Harbor Guard

Harbor Guard was created to bring Coval's Corlock technology to the Marine Industry.  The company is based in San Diego California.

Corlock technology was developed by Coval Technologies. Coval purchased promising Intellectual Property in 2020 and over the subsequent year of meticulous research, development, and investment, Coval created a new type of coating technology that covalently bonds to most surfaces.  While covalent bonding itself isn't new, the application developed by Coval created thousands of times more bonds per square millimeter compared to other technologies.  This refined covalent bonding technology represents a significant advancement in modified surface enhancement.

The name Corlock was devised to represent this technological breakthrough.  The Core Technology of our coatings locks onto the surface at a molecular level creating incredibly strong adhesion.  The Core also cross links with itself and through that process forms a nearly impenetrable matrix to protect the surface from staining.  This technology was then further modified for the specific requirements of the Marine Industry.

Harbor Guard aims to improve sustainability and reduce the environmental impact of coating usage in the Marine Environment. Harbor Guard develops’ products that work to protect many types of marine surfaces effectively, reducing maintenance time while eliminating harsh cleaning chemicals. Harbor Guard coatings exceed the performance of traditional coatings.
